Shaklee Basic H2, natural remedy for eczema

About a year ago I was getting lots of small, itchy blisters mainly in a few places on my body — hands, wrists, legs and feet. It was getting worse and worse, it was keeping me up at night, itching. I was paranoid that perhaps it was some kind of horrible insect living in my bed sheets whose name will not be mentioned and after much research, I finally figured out that I had eczema.

I wasn’t sure where it came from, I mean, I wasn’t doing anything out of the norm in my life. After doing more research, I found out that it’s more prevalent in children and there’s apparently no cure for it, however, it does usually go away after a while.

It was getting more and more unbearable, I finally broke down and went to a dermatologist (even though I have no health insurance — that’s a whole other story), the doctor confirmed that it was indeed eczema (cudos to me and my WebMD skills) however, he prescribed creams that didn’t seem to work and a hell of a allergy sleeping pill that made me so drowsy I couldn’t get anything done the next day (he did warn me though).

I couldn’t function with the pills, so one exceptionally itchy, restless, night, I just scoured the internet for hours until I found someone saying that they used Shaklee Basic H2, which is a natural cleaning agent, but has a TON of purposes. I immediately bought it and started using it in the shower. It really worked! It’s pretty much a soap, but doesn’t sud much and doesn’t dry your skin.

Cut to the chase, I still get eczema, however, nowhere near as bad as it was, I’m never up itching and when I do notice it, I just wash the are with Shaklee and don’t even notice it.

The only other thing I would recommend is drinking plenty of water and anything that dehydrates you (alcohol, coffee, etc) try to cut down on — those are the times I notice it come out most.
